Guide to the Taste of Fort Collins
ATTENDING THE EVENT
Please fill out the press application form if you would like to attend the Taste of Fort Collins on behalf of your media outlet. The application is due by May 25, 2020. You will be notified of your accreditation status and approved ticket requests by June 2nd, 2020.
MEDIA REGISTRATION RULES & REGULATIONS
Anyone wishing to apply for a Taste of Fort Collins press pass must complete the application. All media applications will be reviewed and acceptance/denial emails will be sent starting May 25th, 2020. Working press registration for members of the media covering the Taste of Fort Collins is complimentary. The Taste of Fort Collins can provide only two complimentary press passes per each qualifying media outlet. Guest passes will not be issued but can be purchased at a discount once you are approved for press credentials.
Please note: The Taste of Fort Collins reserves the right to request past samples of coverage prior to deciding on your request.
Freelance writers and photographers must submit a letter from the news organization they are representing on that company’s letterhead and signed by the editor. Eligibility is subject to approval by the Taste of Fort Collins. You will be notified if your request for complimentary press credentials is denied, or if additional information is needed to confirm your status.
Only journalists with commercial news websites qualify for complimentary registration. Sites must be previously established and updated regularly with original and current green building news. Personal website writers, designers, editors or creators do not qualify for complimentary press registration.
Bloggers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must cover industry-related content on a regular basis. Bloggers wishing to receive press credentials must provide the URL of their blog, be a full time, professional blogger, and have at least 10,000 unique visits per month. Self-promoting blogs and those that aggregate third-party content will not be considered. Blog content must be original and updated at least four times per week.
